A celebration: Ten years of ReSolve

MSI's London specialist member firm ReSolve are delighted to have celebrated their ten-year anniversary in March 2016 and extend a warm welcome to new team members.

A few words from the firm: We wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your support over the last decade. With your help, we have grown from a small team based in a tiny office in Fleet Street to an award-winning City practice with an international reputation for providing expert solutions to businesses who find themselves in difficult situations. Particular thanks must be given to our dedicated staff, both past and present, who have worked hard over the last decade to make ReSolve the successful business it is today. The integrity of our team has been the backbone of our success throughout our journey, and their dedication has made all the difference. We look forward to working with you, our clients, throughout the next ten years and beyond to continue to deliver the exceptional service that you expect from ReSolve. Whilst we are no more able to make accurate economic predictions than you are, we do know we are prepared for many eventualities that mean we will be better able to help our clients just when they need it. For a little speculative fun, we do believe there is a reasonable chance that England will have winning World Cup squads in football, cricket and rugby in the next decade. Read on to the bottom of the newsletter to find out why, together with some other thoughts on the future! There are also changes taking place within ReSolve, as we bid farewell to several valued team members in 2015 and extend a warm welcome to new members. New ReSolve team members include:
  • Damilola Oli (Dami) - Graduated from Greenwich University in 2015. A former semi-professional footballer, Dami is just starting out in his career. It can be a steep learning curve coming straight into the fast paced dynamic world of insolvency and restructuring and we wish Dami all the success for his future.
  • Neal Murphy - Qualified with a Big Four practice in Ireland and after a brief stint in its corporate recovery team decided to move into industry in London. After several years in various commercial roles, Neal now returns to the restructuring market utilising his experience in our many advisory and investment assignments.
  • Evelyn Sanchez - Came to the UK to seek success having qualified with a top tier practice in Australia. Evelyn is predominantly working on our increasing portfolio of solvent liquidations where we are handling the distribution of large estates on behalf of high net worth clients.
Welcome to all of you, and we wish you and everyone working with us at ReSolve every success. Thank you all again for your support over the last ten years, and we very much look forward to facing the challenges and opportunities of the next decade together.
