MSI's German multi-disciplinary member Abels Decker Kuhfuss Lenzen & Partner (ADKL) has strengthened its corporate law department with the appointment of a new partner.
On 17 October 2016 Helmut Taubert joined ADKL as a new partner in the firm's Corporate Law department. Taubert will further enhance the Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Corporate Succession Planning divisions across all of the firm's office locations.

In addition to commercial and corporate law as well as real estate law, Helmut Taubert is specialised in banking supervisory law. He started his career at Andersen Luther where he worked in IPO consulting and M&A before moving to IKB Private Equity GmbH, IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG and WGZ BANK AG. There he was mainly responsible for private equity business, particularly advising on direct investments, mezzanine financing and fund structuring, corporate transactions, the development and structuring of structural and reorganisation measures as well as banking supervision.
