President of Diaz Trade Law featured speaker at Disruptive Technology Strike Force event

Jennifer Diaz was a featured speaker on a panel discussing "Building a Compliance Program" at the Disruptive Technology Strike Force’s outreach program, hosted by FIU, targeting the South Florida trade community. Industry experts discussed experiences and lessons learned in establishing compliance programs and best practices for responding to evolving export controls and sanctions regimes.

In addition to industry experts, several esteemed government officials participated in the outreach event, including The Honorable Markenzy Lapointe, United States Attorney, Southern District of Florida, and The Honorable Matthew S. Axelrod, Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement, Bureau of Industry and Security, Department of Commerce as well as federal investigators and prosecutors, and senior government officials from DOJ’s National Security Division, Commerce’s Office of Export Enforcement, and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
