On 8 March 2019, one of Mexico's most important legal journals “Foro Jurídico” published a special edition "The most influential female lawyers in México (“Las abogadas más influyentes de México”) to mark International Women’s Day. Marcela Trujillo who is the managing partner of MSI's Mexican law member firm RVA Abogasos S.C. was named as one of the most influential female lawyers in this special edition.
Alongside Marcela Trujillo, this special edition named a great number of remarkable and prestigious women from within the law and politics sphere, such as the new minister of the Supreme Court of Justice, Yasmín Esquivel Mossa, the legal director of the Tax Administration Service (“SAT”), Margarita Ríos-Farjat, and legal directors of important Mexican companies and institutions, as well as public officials, such as Ernestina Godoy Ramos, Attorney General of Mexico City and Patricia Burgarin Gutiérrez, from the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection (“Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana”), among others.
