National employee movement attorney Steven Manchel and long-time colleagues bring talents to Bowditch

MSI's Massachusetts law member Bowditch & Dewey is delighted to announce that Steven Manchel, a nationally recognised attorney who specialises in high stakes employee departure matters, has joined the firm's Employment & Labor practice along with two of his long-time colleagues.

Carly Krolak and Patrick Capodilupo Also Join the Employment & Labor Group

Manchel, who has decades of experience in recruitment matters, as well as broker-dealer, securities, and complex civil litigation, joins the firm as a partner. Accompanying him are Carly Krolak, of counsel, and Patrick Capodilupo, an experienced associate.

“We are very fortunate to have Steve and his team join Bowditch,” said Tim Van Dyck, practice area leader for Bowditch’s Employment & Labor practice area. “They will expand our muscle power not only in high stakes employment matters but in other complex litigation matters as well. They bring with them a depth of knowledge and experience in evolving and often complex areas of employment law that aligns perfectly with our core strengths. We were delighted to see that they were drawn to Bowditch and, in particular, to our exceptional employment group.”

At Bowditch, Manchel will continue to handle employment matters resulting from employee transitions, involving non-competition agreements and protection of trade secrets, as well as changes at the corporate level, such as mergers and acquisitions among the Fortune 500.

Before joining Bowditch, he led a firm with a similar focus for 25 years as a founding partner, where his cases often involved market-leading U.S. companies. He has earned a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating™ of AV Preeminent® 5.0, the highest standard, and is a member of the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Manchel earned a J.D. from Washington University School of Law.

“My colleagues and I are thrilled to join Bowditch and its strong Employment & Labor team, and look forward to collaborating with our talented colleagues,” Manchel said. “We also are very excited about introducing our clients to a truly full-service firm.”
