New Zealand and Singapore members to strengthen Asia-Pacific cooperation opportunities
On 5 September 2024, a meeting will take place in Auckland, bringing together key representatives from several MSI member firms, including JSA Audit Limited, Mackay Bailey Limited, Carson Fox Legal Limited, and Heng Lee Seng LLP.
MSI's Singapore member firm, Heng Lee Seng LLP, approached JSA Audit Limited for assistance with a Singaporean company that has a subsidiary in New Zealand, requiring audit and assurance services from a New Zealand-registered auditor. This collaboration marked the beginning of a two-year working relationship.
Michael Heng and Cess Arabia from Heng Lee Seng will be visiting Auckland in September to meet with the local management of the subsidiary companies as part of their audit procedures. JSA Audit Limited will host them at their offices during the visit.
Coincidentally, Michael Woodward from MSI member firm Mackay Bailey, will also be in Auckland that same week. This coincidence provided a perfect opportunity to coordinate a meeting on 5 September, involving JSA Audit Limited, Mackay Bailey Limited, Carson Fox Legal Limited (MSI's newest member firm in the region), and Heng Lee Seng LLP. The meeting will focus on exploring future cooperation opportunities.
The day will conclude with a dinner at Auckland’s Soul Bar, located in the vibrant and buzzing Viaduct Harbour.
